Dr Viachaslau Filimonau

Dr Filimonau is currently a Principal Lecturer in Hospitality Management at Bournemouth University, UK. He has a multi-disciplinary academic background which combines social science and natural science disciplines. His research interests revolve around the topic of (more) sustainable tourism and hospitality operations which includes sustainable mobility, environmental management in tourism and hospitality enterprises and sustainable food systems. Dr Filimonau is particularly interested in studying the issue of food waste in the context of foodservice and grocery retail alongside how it can be minimised by applying the tools of behavioural economics. His research has been published in a number of leading journals in the domains of environmental management & sustainability and tourism & hospitality management, including Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Cleaner Production, Environmental Management and Resources, Conservation and Recycling. Dr Filimonau is an Associate Editor of the Tourism Management Perspectives journal.

Mara Cerquetti

Mara Cerquetti is an Associate professor in Management at the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the University of Macerata. At the same University, she teaches Management and Organization of Cultural Institutions, Cultural marketing and Cultural Heritage Management. She has been visiting scholar at the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE), Goldsmiths, University of London (January-April 2016), the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona (June 2019) and the University of Pannonia, Veszprém (September-October 2019). She has also been professor of Cultural Policy at the BSB – Burgundy School of Business, Dijon (2018 and 2020). Her research and publications focus on: cultural management and policy; cultural heritage value, value creation and measurement; cultural marketing; museum visitor studies; museum management; sustainable tourism; the links between cultural heritage and made in Italy. Her publications have been published in several national and international scientific journals such as “Land Use Policy”, “Sustainability”, “European Planning Studies”, “Journal of Cultural Management and Policy”, “Enlightening Tourism” and “Tourism and Hospitality Management”. She has been a member of the Scientific Committee and Editorial Board of the Journal “Il capitale culturale. Studies on the Value of Cultural Heritage” (http://riviste.unimc.it/index.php/cap-cult) since 2010.
